Heinäjoki
The village of Heinäjoki is located 5 kilometers from the center of Turenki towards Lammille. The northern part of the village once belonged to the municipality of Vanaja. The village also features the Lintuvuori spring, which is an old sacrificial spring.
The focal point of the village is the Heinäjoki school functioning as a primary school. For over twenty years, the Heinäjoki village association and the village’s main event has been the traditional Latotanssit dance held in June at Mikkola’s barn, in an idyllic rural setting.
