Employment Committee

The Employment Committee was disbanded at the beginning of 2024, and the matters that belonged to the committee are now handled in the Economic Development and Group Steering Subcommittee.

The task of the Employment Committee is the political steering of the employment organization, drafting the Janakkala municipal employment program and participating in the regional employment program drafting, preparing and monitoring the use of employment funding, providing statements on matters specifically requested by the municipal board, general monitoring of employment issues, and making proposals to the municipal board concerning employment.

The Janakkala municipal employment program 2023-2024 was approved by the municipal board on December 19, 2022. In the Hämeenlinna regional employment working group, the representatives of Janakkala municipality are the municipal director, head of employment and integration services, and the chair of the employment committee. The Ketterimmät – Hämeenlinna regional employment program 2017-2025 was approved by the municipal board on November 27, 2017.
