Kiipula village is best known for the education and rehabilitation center Kiipula located in the village. The area still features the old, beautiful main building Kustaanhovi, which now serves as a venue for celebrations and meetings.

The history of Kiipula is closely linked to the life work of Wilhelmiina and Kustaa Kiipula. The Kiipulas ran a successful farm but bequeathed their estate to tuberculosis resistance work when their daughter Alma Kiipula passed away from pulmonary tuberculosis at the age of 38 in 1907. The two sons of the estate had died earlier, leaving no successor.

The activities that began from the bequest expanded into education and rehabilitation services.

Kiipula remains a small village: there are about 200 employees on the site of the Kiipula Education and Rehabilitation Center, and the daily number of clients (students and rehabilitators) is 400–500.

Kiipula is a producer of social good. Its primary task is to organize vocational special education and rehabilitation. The entity includes the Kiipula Vocational Institute, Kiipula Enterprise Services, Kiipula Gardens, and Kiipula Guest House. Rehabilitation services, on the other hand, are provided by Avire Oy.

Kiipula offers rental spaces for various events ranging from small meetings to larger seminars and events. The old main building of Kiipula, Kustaanhovi, is also available for rent and is suitable for various family celebrations or meeting spaces.

  Matinvuoren huipulla upea levähdyspaikka, josta avautuvat hengästyttävät maalaismaisemat . Tilaa laavulla on noin 30 hengen ryhmälle. Nokipannukahvit ja makkarapaisto onnistuvat ympäri vuoden. Laavulla on ulko-wc. Laavun käyttö edellyttää varauksen tekemistä. Varaukset: yrityspalvelut@kiipula.fi.
• Kiipula Gardens ja Miinantori
  Kiipula Gardens on kaupallinen opetuspuutarha, jossa viljellään kasvihuoneessa kukkia ja vihanneksia. Avomaalla tuotetaan luomuvihanneksia, -marjoja ja -hedelmiä.
