Sports hall, field and swimming hall time slots

An electronic ASIO reservation calendar will be taken into use on 1.1.2026 for Janakkala municipality’s sports services and the sports facilities of schools. This means that electronic applications can no longer be made in the current Timmi reservation system from 19.12.2025 onwards.

For the current season you can make a single or recurring reservation request in the calendar. The request becomes a booking after the slot has been confirmed by sports services. Sports services grant slots for the municipality’s sports facilities outside school and daycare hours. The facilities can be found in the reservation calendar.

Sports services process received reservation requests once a week, generally on Mondays. If you have urgent reservation needs, please contact us by phone. You can also send inquiries about facility availability and facility-related questions by email to tilavaraukset@janakkala.fi.

Important: The person responsible for slots outside the swimming hall’s opening hours must demonstrate their rescue skills to the lifeguard during the hall’s opening hours. The rescue performance is carried out in the large pool regardless of which pool is in use by the slot holder. Rescue performance: jump into the large pool from the shallow end feet first, swim to the deep end and retrieve the mannequin from the bottom + lift to the edge as a continuous performance. The presence of the responsible person who has completed the rescue performance is a prerequisite for holding the pool slot. Reservations are subject to the reservation terms found at the bottom of the page.

Recurring bookings are applied for electronically via the ASIO reservation system from 1.1.2026 onwards.

Outdoor field slots must be applied for by 31.1.2026.

Summer slots 2026 for Turenki sports hall and Delfort Arena, the winter season slots for sports halls and for the sports halls of schools and daycares are applied for from 1.-31.3.2026.

Usage slots for Tervakoski swimming hall are applied for 1.5.-31.5.2026.

During the current season it is possible to apply for single or recurring slots during the season.

As part of the indoor slot application for the winter season, an event will be organized for associations applying for recurring slots where it is possible to negotiate with other associations applying for slots before the application deadline. Attendance at the event is required for associations applying for at least 5 h/week.

Electronic slot application
Slots are applied for electronically via the ASIO reservation system from 1.1.2026 onwards.

The outdoor field season is 1.4.–31.10. (Season start and end depend on prevailing weather conditions; permission to use the field is given by the head of sports services.)

The summer 2026 season for the Turenki and Tervakoski sports halls is 1.5.–31.7. School and daycare sports halls are generally closed for the summer season.

The winter season for the Turenki and Tervakoski sports halls is 1.8.–31.5. and for schools’ and daycares’ sports halls 1.9.-31.5.

For Tervakoski swimming hall, the operating season for bookings outside the hall’s opening hours is 11.8.-14.6. and for bookings within the hall’s opening hours 11.8.-24.5.

Before the decisions on field and hall slots, the head of sports services circulates a draft slot allocation for comment to those who applied for slots. The final allocation is decided by the head of sports services. Decisions on outdoor field slots will be communicated by the end of February. For sports halls and schools’ and daycares’ sports halls, decisions on summer slots will be communicated by mid-April and on winter season slots by the end of May.

When granting usage slots for facilities, the purposes and equipment of the halls are taken into account.

The head of sports services decides on Tervakoski swimming hall reservations. Decisions on slots will be delivered to applicants by 15.6.

Unconfirmed reservation = Reservation request

For most facilities you can make an unconfirmed reservation, which will be confirmed by sports services and you will then receive a reservation confirmation by email.

Direct reservation

At the gymnasiums of Harviala and Tervakoski schools it is possible to make direct reservations; in that case the slot is confirmed and paid at the time of booking and you will receive a code and instructions for access.

Recurring bookings

Recurring bookings can be applied for once a year for the autumn and spring seasons. For the summer season, sports hall slots are granted in sports halls. Recurring bookings can also be granted after the application period has ended, if there are available times. Recurring booking applications are submitted in ASIO.

Municipal facilities are reserved primarily via ASIO from 1.1.2026 onwards. Reservation inquiries by email can be sent to tilavaraukset@janakkala.fi. Please include in the email:

The name of the facility to be reserved.
The desired time of the reservation (and the season, if it is a recurring reservation), including the date or day of the week and the time.
The name and contact details of the booker (club, company or person), including address, phone number and email address.
The invoiced company’s Business ID (Y-tunnus) or the invoiced person’s personal identity number.
