Summer jobs in the municipality of Janakkala
The summer jobs for 2025 are open for applications from Marh 19 to April 15.4.2026.
Summer jobs are available for two or four weeks in places such as daycare centers, children’s camps, and parks and sports areas. Interviews are primarily conducted in group formats.
This year, we will make selections based on applications. We will announce the selections by the end of April.
Young residents of Janakkala born in 2011 or earlier can apply for municipal summer jobs, provided they have no prior work experience or very limited experience. For those under 15 years old, the contract must be signed by a guardian or with the guardian’s consent.
Summer job voucher 2026
500€ summer job vouchers and 250€ summer job vouchers for this spring have been distributed!
The summer job voucher is a subsidy of 250 or 500 euros paid by the municipality to the employer who hires:
- A young person aged 15-24, born between 2002-2011, for at least 2 or 4 weeks between May 1 and August 31, 2026.
- For the 250€ subsidy, the net salary (the amount the young person receives) must be at least 500€.
- For the 500€ subsidy, the net salary (the amount the young person receives) must be at least 1000€. The 500€ subsidy is limited to one subsidy per company.
The summer job voucher can be applied for from February 1 to May 31, 2026.
