Janakkala’s summer jobs are open for application

Janakkala municipality’s summer jobs are open for application until April 12, 2026.

There are 70–80 summer jobs available for young people depending on how many two- or four-week periods the work is divided into. Tasks are available, among others, in daycares, children’s camps, and park and sports areas.

The municipality’s summer jobs are primarily intended for young people who do not yet have other work experience or whose experience is very limited. Young people born in 2011 and older can apply. Selections will be made based on the applications by the end of April at the latest.

In addition to the traditional summer jobs, Janakkala municipality is looking for eight young people for June to run the park meal service. The park meal service will be organized in both Turenki and Tervakoski. Applicants for the park meal positions will also be interviewed, and these positions are also open to young people who have more summer work experience.
