Laurinmäki Nature and Culture Area
At the charming Laurinmäki, nature, history, and vibrant modern life combine. There is a tenant museum, a nature trail that features a magnificent village association shelter, a summer café, and events. The museum and café are open in summer, but the area can be freely explored year-round. Janakkala’s Christmas is annually opened at Laurinmäki.
Ida Aalberg Museum
The Ida Aalberg Museum is located in Janakkala, between Leppäkoski school and the railway.
The house of the Leppäkoski railway master is a unique rarity among railway buildings. It was built during the first phase of the oldest railway, and the railway master Antti Ahlberg lived there as early as 1862. He was the father of the future great diva, actress Ida Aalberg.

Koivuniemi stable
Our stable offers horseback riding and experiences in the tranquility of the countryside, in beautiful rural landscapes in Kanta-Häme.
In addition to riding, we also offer experience weekends or, for example, company recreation days with full board. You can also sauna at our own beach and warm up in a hot tub for 12 people. There is a hot tub available at our main building.
Accommodation is available for various needs. A 12-person camping cabin, small cabins by the beach, and a cozy fireplace room in the main building offer accommodation for larger groups.
