Janakkala municipal library rents premises to external parties for various events. Event organisers must comply with the terms of use for the premises, which you can view at this link. You can check the availability of the library’s premises (exhibition space, library hall, classroom) in the ASIO reservation system. Through ASIO you can also send a space reservation request to the library. Inquiries and bookings can also be made by email. Contact person: Tarja Savolainen.

Exhibition space Galleria Ida

The exhibition space located next to the hall can be rented for various visual art or photography exhibitions. The space features an exhibition wall, display cabinets and partition panels.

Library hall

The main library hall is suitable for a variety of events. The spacious and bright area has hosted birthday parties, fashion shows and concerts. The hall accommodates 100 people.

Café Kirjaston kulma

Savoury and sweet items from our own oven. The home-cooked lunch includes a salad, a warm main course and a dessert with coffee, as well as other related accompaniments. Fresh pastries are baked every morning for coffee drinkers!

The “Wellbeing corner” sells natural cosmetics and handicrafts, e.g. handmade candles, soaps and wool socks.

Classroom

The classroom can be used, for example, for lectures. It has a laptop and a projector. The classroom has tables and chairs for 24 people. Additional chairs are available on request.

Classroom and hall prices

20 € / hour for all groups.

Room rental is charged for a maximum of 6 hours.

Prices include VAT.
