What?

Flexible basic education follows the curriculum and provides functional learning during the final phase of primary school in the 9th grade. The goal is to obtain a primary school graduation certificate and ensure access to further studies.

Who?

Jopo education is suitable for a underperforming young person in general education who may need a different approach to schooling, requires multi-professional support for growth and learning, and feels anxious in social situations. However, the young person should be sufficiently independent to manage work placements.

In Jopo classes, students study in smaller groups flexibly to achieve individual goals. In addition to functional work methods, study visits are made alongside the studies. Students in this class have more work placements than those in a regular general education class.
