Pupil Wellbeing and Health
A good school life consists of quality teaching and taking care of physical, mental, and social wellbeing. Participation also increases school satisfaction. In addition to teaching staff, schools employ professionals in wellbeing and healthcare, and their role is to support pupils’ growth, learning, and school attendance.
The purpose of the model for supporting regular school attendance is to help schools and homes work together to ensure children’s and young people’s school attendance and learning. Issues and obstacles related to school attendance can be confusing. The reasons are often diverse and can be difficult to identify. In these situations, it is necessary to combine the perspectives and resources of both the school and the home. A joint plan builds trust in the collaboration.
Our schools focus on preventing bullying and addressing it effectively. In this effort, the anti-bullying KiVa School program is a valuable tool.
