Janakkala is negotiating with Hämeenlinna over the provision of ICT services

Janakkala is negotiating with the city of Hämeenlinna about jointly producing ICT services in the future.

Currently Janakkala’s ICT services are provided by the in-house company Tiera Oy, but due to changes in procurement legislation the service cannot be continued in its current form after the law’s transitional period.

The Hämeenlinna municipal executive will consider the matter on Monday 5 October, and it is proposed that the city of Hämeenlinna’s ICT services be produced as the city’s own operation starting 1 May 2028. At the same time the city would prepare cooperation with the Janakkala municipality and the city’s subsidiaries to jointly provide the services.
