Southern Häme Environmental Health inspected Janakkala’s swimming beaches on May 15-16, 2026.

There was already quite a lot of blue-green algae, especially at Rahitunlammi. There were also accumulations of blue-green algae on the shore at the Rehakka and Tietty beaches. These beaches have a notice on the notice board about blue-green algae observations.
