The Janakkala municipal council approved a new strategy for Janakkala on May 16, 2022.
The strategy has three main themes, each with three objectives.

• Janakkala is a community-oriented and enterprising municipality in which everyone participates in its development
• Janakkala is a vibrant municipality where a positive atmosphere fuels a compelling cycle of growth and wellbeing
• Janakkala offers a safe and supportive environment where people feel well and enjoy living
