Service network plan 2025

According to the decision of the municipal executive, a service network review will be initiated in Janakkala together with the property strategy and the program for the renewal of finances, growth, and operations. The service network review will result in a long-term service network plan that
will serve as a guiding document over electoral periods. The review will include several participatory elements, and the final decision on the plan will be made by the municipal council. All materials related to the service network review will be collected on this page.

Group compositions

Steering group
Members of the steering group include the chair and vice-chair of the council, the chair and vice-chair of the municipal executive, the chairs of the education committee, welfare committee, and technical committee, the chief executive (presenter), and the head of development (secretary).

Preparation working group
Chief executive (chair), head of development (secretary), administrative and human resources director, finance director, technical director, welfare director, educational department director, and the head of communications. 

Welfare subgroup
Library director, head of sports services, youth services director, and cultural producer.

Educational services subgroup
early childhood education director, ad int. education director/principal, educational department director, and head of finance and administration.

Technical services subgroup
Area services: earthworks manager, project engineer (infrastructure), maintenance work manager, and developer.
Property services: head of property management, building maintenance engineer, maintenance engineer, developer, and technical director.
