Events on Turenki’s pedestrian street
Currently the pedestrian street functions as an event area. The market square area in Turengi town centre has been taken into use for parking. If necessary, the market square area can also be used for public events; in that case, the possibility of using the area will be checked when the application is submitted. The fee for Turengi’s pedestrian street and (market square) is 175 €/day. The area usage fee also includes electricity.
An application to use the area must be submitted well in advance, approx. 2 weeks before the event. The application must state the date, time, the intended purpose, and who the responsible person is. If a responsible person is not specified separately, the applicant is responsible for the event. The application can be made in free form by e-mail to the property engineer. Depending on the scope of the event, it is also possible that the application will be directed to be made through the electronic permit service.

Free sales spots are reserved via the Lyyli service point. See free sales spots on the pedestrian street
There is an electrical outlet near the playground where, if necessary, electricity can be taken for a fee. This must be agreed in advance, as the electrical outlet is locked.
It is the responsibility of the event organiser to ensure that the event does not pose a danger or cause unnecessary inconvenience to other users of the area. Pedestrian and bicycle routes must always be kept open. The area must be kept tidy during the event and cleaned immediately after the event has ended. There is no separate waste bin on the area, so rubbish must be removed.
