Janakkala's villages brochure
Janakkala has multiple charming villages to live in or visit. They feature stunning nature destinations, unique services, and cozy houses available to rent for events.
The brochure compiles information primarily about the villages where a village association operates. It focuses on life in the countryside of Janakkala. The larger population centers of Tervakoski and Turenki have been omitted this time, but there are also resident associations that enliven these centers. The print edition of the brochure is unfortunately sold out.

Tervakoski paper mill
Tervakoski has always breathed in sync with the paper mill established by the Tervajoki river rapids in 1818. Tervakoski Oy is uniquely distinguished on a global scale, having operated continuously for over 200 years. It is the oldest still-operating paper mill in Finland, and the population center surrounding it is a rare, vibrant paper mill area in today’s world.
