Welcome to Laurinmäki to everyone who practices or is interested in history and cultural heritage in various ways, regardless of age, social status or any other differences. As usual, there will be a program-filled old-time market taking over the entire museum area from 14:00–18:00. The day offers many experiences. The program includes music, traditional workshops, market stalls, the magic of stories and a dive into the art trails in Laurinmäki’s nature.
At the Taara Market, national costumes will be showcased! Join the program wearing a national costume. As part of the Laurinmäki museum area’s event program, participants in national costume will be asked to gather between 15:30–16:00 (in front of the museum’s main building), where there will be an opportunity to take photographs and, if desired, tell about your national costume. Spread the word about the national costume showcase at the Taara Market to friends who own national costumes! We hope to see many people dressed in national costumes!
Admission to the event is free, but for purchases at the market and café it is advisable to bring both card and some cash.
