Janakkala has several charming local museums, most of which are open during the summer. The municipality of Janakkala maintains two museums. The Laurinmäki Crofter’s Museum, with its nature and culture areas, is located next to the Church of St. Lawrence, and the Ida Aalberg Museum is in the childhood home of the actress, an old railway master’s house in Leppäkoski.

Private museums also provide a lot to explore! At the Old School of Napiala, there is a school museum and a shop museum. In the village of Hyvikkälä, you can find a cozy nostalgic gas station and a shop museum, while the village of Vähikkälä offers a true rarity; a Computer Museum filled with old devices and the history of data processing.
