Mäyrä

Mäyrä is a peaceful residential area bordered by low-density housing and connected to a nearby nature-based recreational area. The distance from Mäyrä to the local primary school is approximately 0.5–1 km, and to the secondary school about 1.5 km. The services of Tervakoski center are located about 1.5 km away. There you’ll also find the new, impressive Delfort Arena multi-purpose hall, as well as the Valo school center, which will open in autumn 2025.

Illuminated trails and outdoor routes circle around Luulionvuori hill, while other outdoor sports services are concentrated near the Tervakoski school and swimming hall (about 500 m-1 km), where there is a sports field, ice hockey and skating rinks, and a disc golf course. The nearest beach is located on the shores of Alasjärvi, about a kilometer away from the Mäyrä residential area.
