Land Use and Building Act is being reformed – The Land Use Act and Building Act come into effect on January 1, 2025.

The new Building Act will come into effect on January 1, 2025. At the same time, the construction part of the Land Use and Building Act will be repealed, and the name of the law will change to the Land Use Act.

The service interruption in electronic permit processing for building control is over. The service has been reopened, and permit applications can once again be initiated.
