Grants from the welfare fund for the elderly are open for application

Janakkala municipality will grant a total of 8,000 euros in 2026 in grants for activities carried out for the benefit of elderly residents of Janakkala. The grants are distributed from the Elderly welfare fund, which was established for the municipality from assets donated by will. In accordance with the will, the funds are to be used to support elderly care work in Janakkala.

The application period is 25 Sep–30 Oct 2026. The application form closes on 30 Oct at 4:00 PM. Further information, the grant terms and the application form can be found on the municipality’s welfare grants page.

Applications will be processed by the welfare committee on 12 Nov 2026. The amount of any grant awarded will depend on the number of applicants, the budget available and the scope of the activity. Applicants must commit to the municipality’s general grant principles.
