During the years 2020-2023, Tervakoski Comprehensive School implemented the Erasmus+ KA101 project titled “Happy Community, Better School Life”, funded by the European Union. The project enabled teachers and student support personnel to participate in international training in other European countries.

The aim of the project was to find ways to support students’ school well-being and staff’s work resilience, as well as to increase international cooperation between European schools. New teaching methods learned during the project have been implemented in the school’s daily activities. For example, in class advisor lessons, well-being courses, the Kiva club, and student support work. In the spring semester of 2023, we also received international guests when two Czech teachers spent a week in Tervakoski learning about the Finnish school system and the everyday life of Janakkala High School and Tervakoski Community School.

With the help of the images and videos found on this site, you can get to know the project in more detail.
