Municipal early childhood education

We support children’s development, learning and wellbeing in a safe, encouraging and pedagogically planned environment. We provide municipal early childhood education in daycares and family daycare. From this page you can find the contact details of our locations.

Family daycare

Family daycare is a home-like form of early childhood education that takes into account the child’s individual needs and provides a safe environment throughout the municipality. In family daycare, children are cared for in the caregiver’s own home or in the homes of client families.

There are 13 municipal family daycare providers working in the Janakkala area. Family daycare providers are located in Turenki, Leppäkoski and Tervakoski.
