You can easily access the harju hills of Janakkala by train as well. It’s just a stone’s throw from the Turenki station to the nice hiking trails, and it’s easy to stock up your snack backpack in the local shops before heading out.

You can make a loop on the hills and return to Turenki or continue your journey from Hämeenlinna or Ryttylä stations.

Both routes are also popular among mountain bikers.
