Leasing of arable land

The municipality of Janakkala owns approximately 200 hectares of arable land, which it leases to active farmers by competitive tender for fixed terms of varying lengths according to the municipality’s land use needs. The arable lands are mainly located in the villages of Tervakoski, Leppäkoski and Turenki.

The tender for leasing arable land begins on Thursday 8 January 2026

The municipality of Janakkala offers arable land for lease based on offers, in accordance with the principles for leasing arable land approved by the technical committee. For 2026, approximately 140 hectares of arable land have become available for lease in eight different areas across Janakkala. Offers for leases must be submitted on the form included in the material package and returned in a sealed envelope to the agricultural office by 12:00 on 29 January 2026.
