Starting from January 1, 2025, Janakkala’s employment services will be part of the South Häme employment area. More information can be found on the EHTA website.

At the Janakkala municipal employment and integration services, we offer services aiming to promote residents’ work readiness and employment, as well as guidance and support for integration in collaboration with other authorities and partners. Our employment services focus on the long-term unemployed and young people whose periods of unemployment are at risk of extending. Employment services also provide assistance to companies regarding the employment of long-term unemployed individuals (e.g., work trials, wage subsidies, employment vouchers, and municipal supplements). Initial integration services include obtaining basic information about Finland and the municipality, counseling and guidance, initial assessments/service needs evaluation, integration plans, and integration training. Integration services guide clients towards independent agency in society.

Regional Ketterimmät employment program

The Ketterimmät employment program is a regional employment program implemented in Janakkala, Hämeenlinna, and Hattula. The goal is to shorten the duration of job searches, enhance cooperation and dialogue among various actors, and enable agile employment services in the area.

The employment program is implemented as an agile process with quick practical measures. The results of the employment program are monitored and analyzed regularly.
