How to register as a jobseeker?
You can register as an unemployed jobseeker electronically at the Job Market Finland website.

Graduates
If you have not found a job directly after graduating from school, register as an unemployed jobseeker at the Job Market Finland– service.
Do not hesitate to contact your municipality’s employment services if you need help with employment issues, want training, or tips for job searching.
Under 25 years old without a vocational qualification
Follow these instructions if you are under 25 and have not completed any qualification after comprehensive school or high school that provides vocational skills:
- always apply in the spring for a qualification or degree programme starting the following autumn; the programme does not have to be part of the joint application
- apply for at least two study places that you meet the selection criteria for
- participate in, for example, entrance exams and other events related to applying for the study place
- if you receive a study place, accept it and start your studies
- If, for example, health or language skills prevent you from applying for education, contact
employment services; in this case, the obligation to apply can be arranged differently than described above
