The Kylät partnership table was launched in September 2024. Its goals are:

• As many villages as possible would participate in the partnership table work.
• Active cooperation among village communities.
• Revitalization of villages. Increase the population in the villages.
• Continuation of cooperation between the municipality and the villages.

First meeting on 11.9.2024

In the meeting, Minna Palosaari was appointed as the chair and Jenni Kuotola as the secretary. The agenda from the starter meeting held in August at Tarinmaa’s Yellow House was reviewed. (at the end of the page) A joint Facebook page for the villages was established, and the implementation of village signs was agreed upon.

Second meeting on 1.10.2014

The cost and content of the event trailer (a trailer for common use by the villages, including event supplies such as a tent, grill, and tables) were reviewed. The proposal for the implementation of village signs was approved, and setup costs will be clarified. The administrators of the villages’ Facebook pages were agreed upon. The use of the remaining funds was discussed.

Third meeting on 6.11.2024

The order for the village trailer’s supplies was finalized, and borrowing practices for the trailer were discussed. It was agreed that in 2025, four housing experiments will be organized as a continuation of the Path to Village project. Funding of €500 per experiment was reserved in advance.

Fourth meeting on 10.12.

We discussed how the housing experiment can be realized in 2025. Borrowing practices for the event trailer and its presentation were discussed, and it was agreed that it will be showcased at the association meeting on 23.1., but a separate presentation event will also be organized, where sausages will be grilled on the new grill. A webpage about the trailer will be created. It was noted that the JanakkalanKylät Facebook page needs more boost. The use of the remaining funds was contemplated, and after the meeting, it was agreed that a professional would be hired to make a village video. The creator is Iisakki Kennilä, who resides in Salois.
