Rental of spaces
The Janakkala municipal library rents out facilities to external parties for various events. The event organizer must comply with the terms of use for the facilities, which can be viewed through this link. You can inquire about the rental spaces at the main library (exhibition space, library lobby, classroom). You can browse the booking status of the library’s facilities in the Timmi calendar.

Exhibition Space Galleria Ida
The exhibition space located next to the lobby can be rented for various visual art or photography exhibitions. The space includes an exhibition wall, display cabinets, and partitions.
Price of the Exhibition Space
All groups 45 €/week.
Library Lobby
The main library lobby is suitable for a variety of events. The spacious and bright area has hosted birthday parties, fashion shows, and concerts. The lobby can accommodate 100 people.
Café Library Corner
Savory and sweet products from our own oven. The home-cooked lunch includes salad, warm food, and dessert with coffee and other necessary items! Fresh pastries are baked every morning for coffee drinkers!
In the “Wellness Corner,” natural cosmetics and handicrafts are sold, including handmade candles, soaps, and woolen socks.
The entrepreneur has exclusive rights to coffee services in the library and sports hall facilities according to the rental agreement. Event organizers can contact the entrepreneur:

Classroom
The classroom can be used for lectures, for example. It is equipped with a laptop and a projector. The classroom has tables and chairs for 24 people. Additional chairs are available upon request.
Prices for the Classroom and Lobby
For all groups 20 €/hour.
Facility rental is charged for a maximum of 6 hours.
Prices include VAT.
