The reduction in operations at Tervakoski health centre continues – services will still be offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays

The non-urgent outpatient services at Tervakoski health center will continue with reduced hours in Janakkala. Until the end of August 2026 the health center is open two days a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The reduction in services began in August 2025 — the reason is a shortage of doctors caused by recruitment difficulties.

During the reduced service, one physician, a registered nurse, a practical nurse and a diabetes nurse work in Tervakoski. Appointments are pre-scheduled non-urgent times. Tervakoski health center already has laboratory services on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so concentrating the opening hours also supports the laboratory operations.

During the service reduction, customers can still contact the health center by phone as usual on weekdays:
