Suggest the association of the year

You can now suggest the association of the year; the suggestion period is open until March 31, 2026. When selecting the association of the year, attention will be paid to the following matters, with emphasis on one or more of the criteria:

• the effectiveness of the association’s activities and their impacts on the member community, the living environment, or the surrounding society;
• how the association’s activities support the municipal strategy and/or the wellbeing plan;
• cooperation with the municipality and other actors;
• the association’s response to current situations or needs;
• positive special features of the association’s activities.

The association of the year is proposed by a group composed of the municipality’s association contact persons and the selection is made by the welfare committee. The association of the year will be revealed at Turenki Spring Festival on Saturday May 23, 2026.
