Suggest a recipient for the Janakkala scholarship

The Janakkala Scholarship, established in 2016 for Janakkala’s 150th anniversary, is awarded annually to an 18–30-year-old resident of Janakkala who has excelled in sports, culture, the arts, or science.

Now it is time to nominate this year’s scholarship recipient. Nominations are submitted to the selection committee. The final decision on the scholarship recipient is made by the municipal executive. The Janakkala Scholarship has so far been awarded to rower Robert Ven, judoka Luukas Saha, violinist Linda Suolahti, powerlifter Emmi Viljanen, javelin thrower Onni Ruokangas, lighting and sound designer Tommi Tiitta, para track and field athlete Nea Tilli and floorball player Ilmo Leino.

Proposals can be submitted until March 15. Please note that the nominee must still be a resident of Janakkala.
