Janakkala’s new municipal council
The voter turnout in Janakkala in the municipal elections held on April 13, 2025, was 52.0 %.
A total of 6761 votes were cast, of which 117 were invalid.
The council seats are distributed as follows:
- National Coalition Party: 7
- Finns Party: 1
- Social Democratic Party of Finland: 10
- Centre Party: 6
- Green Party: 2
- Left Alliance: 1
- Christian Democrats of Finland: 2
- Janakkala Independent List: 4
Of the current council members, 20 will continue and 13 new ones will be elected. The most votes in Janakkala were collected by Marko Ahtiainen (239). The first meeting of the new council is on June 2.
