Janakkala’s business services will be centralized at Janakkalan Yrityskehitys Oy
The business services of the municipality of Janakkala will be reorganized following a service agreement signed on February 11, 2026. The agreement transfers the leadership responsibility for business services to Janakkalan Yrityskehitys Oy (JYK), which will consolidate the services aimed at the municipality’s businesses into a single clear whole.

The reform aims for a more effective and agile operating model as well as better accessibility of services. The one-stop-shop model is intended to strengthen the municipality’s vitality, attract new companies to Janakkala and support the growth and development of existing businesses.
Comprehensive package of services to support businesses
Under the agreement, JYK will be responsible for the following business services going forward:
- advisory services for starting entrepreneurs and start-up guidance
- business location services
- premises services
- advisory and development services for established businesses
- financial advisory services
- company survey calls in cooperation with the municipality of Janakkala

– The signed service agreement clarifies Janakkala municipality’s business and investment services. It is important that services intended for businesses are easily available. By centralizing the services to JYK, we can serve businesses even better, says Janakkalan Yrityskehitys Oy’s managing director Antti Aaltonen.
Business services now closer – JYK has relocated to Turenki town center
Janakkalan Yrityskehitys Oy has moved to new, easily accessible premises in Turenki town center at Harvialantie 7.
The new location improves the accessibility of business services and enables even closer cooperation with local entrepreneurs. Companies can access services easily.
Business house Veturi, located next to the municipal hall, will become a thing of the past as a name and the premises will be transferred for municipal office and meeting use.
