Environmental protection and building control fees updated
The municipality’s environmental protection and building control fees have been updated. The new fees came into effect on 1.2.2026 and 1.3.2026. Applications submitted before these dates will be subject to the previous fees.
Fees are regularly updated to better reflect actual costs. It was necessary to update the fees now also because of legislative changes (the Water Services Act and the Building Act). Some price increases have been made.
The environmental protection fee schedule has been expanded: in addition to exemptions from the obligation to connect to the water supply, it now includes billing bases related to supervision under the Environmental Protection Act and the handling of related matters.
The building control fee schedule now includes a provision related to the failure to meet the processing deadline for a building permit application.
