Current cross-country ski track and ice field conditions

Ski tracks

Fri 23.1.2026

  • TURENKI: During the week the Moisio–Kauriinmaa–Lintuvuori track has been packed. Likewise Konttila–Kiipula and Leppäkoski. The connecting track is not yet in skiing condition; more snow is needed along the entire route and especially on the fields and at ditch crossings. A groomed track has not yet been possible to make with a machine on the outdoor routes or the fields. Skiers should note that on the fields and wooded sections soil is visible in places. The best snow conditions are in the Kaurinmaa–Lintuvuori area, but more snow is needed for a machine-made groomed track.
  • TERVAKOSKI: A ski track on Alasjärvi was groomed to skiing condition on 22.1.; one spot near the Tammiranta bathing pier has slushy/icy conditions for about 15 m, otherwise the route is OK. On the lit route the holes dug by walkers on the track were smoothed by grooming. Bases have been packed on Tervakoski’s lit outdoor route and on Tietty’s field track, but more snow would be needed for groomed track lanes.

Fri 14.1.2026

  • TURENKI: Yesterday the Leppäkoski loop was packed. Today Konttila–Kiipula and Kaurinmaa–Lintuvuori + Moisio were packed. The bases are still soft and the track lanes could not be set, otherwise the ground shows through. The tracks have been used somewhat for walking, cycling and sledding. A reminder that during the winter season the outdoor routes are intended to be used on skis.
  • TERVAKOSKI: The lit track was groomed last night, and this morning the Alasjärvi track was groomed. The track in Nikkari Park has been groomed.
