Jokimaa is a village of about 300 residents in Eastern Janakkala. The community meeting place is the Löyttymäki VPK’s fire station, completed in 1949, which the Jokimaa village association has renovated through volunteer work and EU funding into a modern village community house. The building is also rented out to outsiders for celebrations and other events.

In summer, the village’s life is enlivened by cottage-owners spending their leisure time at the clear waters of lake Mallinkaistenjärvi.
