Mallinkaistenjärvi
Saureenintie, Löyttymäki

The Mallinkaistenjärvi area is a forested recreation area owned by the municipality, where hikers have access to four campfire spots and a swimming beach. Along the paths that follow the lakeshore, there are many beautiful steep cliffs, such as Valskerinkallio, where new stairs were built in the summer of 2022. The path is natural and can be challenging in places.
Marked routes leave from the Kahilahti shelter/swimming beach both north and south. Firewood is available in the wood storage of the Kahilahti open shelter, from which it can be taken to other campfire sites. Ash trees and European linden trees grow at Saparonniemi, which are protected by nature conservation laws.

Taking the entire area around is about 10 km, but it is possible to choose several shorter circular trails in the area.
