The Mallinkaisten camp center is owned by the municipality of Janakkala, located by the shores of Lake Mallinkaistenjärvi. The usage period of the camp center is from May 1st to October 31st.

The primary users of the camp center are local youth organizations and associations, in addition to youth services.

The application period for usage slots for the 2025 season is from January 15th to 31st, 2025. Those who apply for slots will be informed of the granted slots during February. Remaining slots can be reserved during the usage season.

Note! The camp center is reserved from June 2nd to June 29th, 2025, for the municipality’s own summer camps.

If an applicant does not use the allotted slot, they must notify youth services immediately. The full fee will be charged for the usage slot if it has not been canceled one month before the start of the usage period.

If the premises are left uncleaned, cleaning costs will be charged at 150 € / cleaning hour.

Group I
Local cultural, sports, youth, and other non-profit organizations and associations, youth activity groups, as well as the municipality’s own activities.
Group II
Non-local cultural, sports, youth, and other non-profit organizations and associations. Child and youth work of parishes and municipalities.
Group III
Business enterprises, companies, private individuals, and events with admission fees. Other users not mentioned above.

Information about the Mallinkaisten Camp Center

Facilities available for renters:

• outdoor areas: wooded slope from the accommodation building to the beach, sports field, swimming beach

Accommodation

The camp center has 6 accommodation rooms (five 8-person rooms, one 6-person room) and a leaders’ room (double accommodation). The accommodation rooms have bunk beds and mattresses (no blankets or pillows provided). Renters must bring their own sheets, blankets/sleeping bags, and pillows.

Kitchen Equipment

The kitchen is equipped with an industrial dishwasher and an oven/stove, two refrigerators, and one freezer. Common cooking utensils and dining dishes for about 50 people are available.

Cleaning

Renters must clean the premises during their rental period and upon departure. The next renter will receive the premises in the condition left by the previous renter! Cleaning supplies and equipment are available at the camp center. Ashes must also be emptied from the sauna.

Emergency Plan

The renter must familiarize themselves with the camp center’s emergency plan before the rental: https://pelsu.fi/mallinkaisten-leiri/. The renter or the responsible person for the rental must acknowledge that they have read the emergency plan in an electronic emergency plan document. In addition to the property’s emergency plan, each renter is responsible for their own safety plan.
