1. In the following cases, the swimming hall cashier can sell the swimming hall ticket at a reduced price according to the price list (the basis for the reduced price must be stated in connection with the injury or illness):

  • Disabled: disability degree at least 50% or disability class at least 11 – medical proof*
  • Intellectually disabled – medical proof*
  • CP patients (diagnosis G80) – medical proof*
  • Progressive central nervous system diseases (diagnoses G10-G13)
  • Visually impaired (disability degree 60%, visual impairment card)
  • MS patients: KELA card identifier 109 or 303
  • Rheumatic patients and those with psoriatic arthritis: – KELA card identifier 202 or 313
  • Asthmatics: KELA card identifier 203
  • Psychiatric illnesses: KELA card identifier 112 or 188
  • Diabetics: KELA card identifier 103
  • Polio survivors/late effects – medical proof*
  • Patients with Parkinson’s disease: KELA card identifier 110
  • Patients with coronary artery disease: KELA card identifier 206
  • Patients with heart failure: KELA card identifier 201
  • Epileptics: KELA card identifier 111
  • Patients with muscle disease: KELA card identifier 108
  • Motor development disorder (diagnosis F 82)
  • MBD (diagnosis F 90.0)
  • Fibromyalgia (M79.0, M79.2)
  • Disabled children (e.g. ADHD, autism, dysphasia (F 80.2 and 80.1), children with heart conditions, children with cancer, muscle diseases, asthma, diabetes, rheumatism…) – medical proof*

Proof can include: e.g., a doctor’s certificate, Kela’s decision on treatment or disability support, a copy of the KELA card (identifiers) or Inva P-permit.

Medical proof* refers to, for example, a copy of the hospital medical record or other document that reliably indicates the diagnosis and severity of the condition (e.g., C statement, B statement). For patients with hip and knee prostheses, a card issued for air travel regarding the prosthesis is sufficient. Obtaining a separate medical certificate solely for the swimming card is not appropriate if the required information is available from existing documents. If the card is requested based on a back or lower limb injury/illness, there must be medical proof indicating the degree of disability or disability class (i.e., the percentage of disability must be visible in the statement).

2. In other cases, you must call the head of sports services at 03 680 1800 and agree on how the customer will provide the medical proof for viewing by sports services. Other cases may include, for example:

  • dystonia patients – medical proof.*
  • organ transplant patients – medical proof *
  • cancer patients – medical proof*
  • autistic people over 18 – medical proof*
