Lease of agricultural land
The municipality of Janakkala owns approximately 300 hectares of agricultural land, which it leases to active farmers based on competitive bidding for varying terms according to the municipality’s land use needs. The agricultural lands are mainly located in the villages of Tervakoski, Leppäkoski, and Turenki.
Agricultural lands will be available for lease next in 2026
The municipality of Janakkala offers agricultural lands for rent in accordance with the principles of leasing agricultural lands established by the technical committee, based on bids. In 2025, all agricultural lands leased by the municipality of Janakkala will have a valid lease agreement. The next agricultural lands will be available for rent in the spring of 2026. The area of land coming up for rent in spring 2026 is approximately 140 ha.
