During the summer, dogs can swim in

• Tervakoski, Tietty boat beach
• At the tip of Savilahti along the Tammiranta shore route in Tervakoski (swimming allowed in a place where there are no boat berths)
• In Turenki, Ahilampi, on the shore of Pumppukoppi (not on the public beach)

Dogs can also swim in all other places that are not public beaches. According to the Public Order Act, dogs are not allowed on public swimming beaches and playgrounds.

When taking a dog swimming, other people should be considered, and waste should be responsibly managed in accordance with the Public Order Act.

If blue-green algae, or cyanobacteria, is visible in the lake water, it is not advisable to let the dog go to the beach.
