Spring 2026 farmer subsidy training sessions

The municipalities’ rural services and Sisä-Suomen elinvoimakeskus are organising field subsidy training sessions in March–April. In-person training sessions will be held in Sastamala, Janakkala, Teisko (Tampere) and Tammela. The training series ends with a webinar held on the Teams platform. The trainings are aimed at farmers in Kanta-Häme and Pirkanmaa. A training on organic and environmental agreements organised by three vitality centres is also available.

In Janakkala, the farmer support training will be held traditionally at Kiipula on Saturday 28 March 2026 from 10:00 to 12:30.
After the training it is possible to stay for a self-paid lunch. You can find the registration link at the bottom of this article.
Registration for the lunch ends on 13 March 2026 and for the training on 26 March 2026.

The field subsidy training sessions cover changes to the farmer support conditions for 2026, topics that proved challenging in last year’s support application, and inspection findings. A more detailed programme will be published later.

Advance registration is required for the trainings

Advance registration is required for the trainings. In-person training sessions offer a self-paid lunch after the training session at 12:30. Registration for the lunches at the in-person trainings ends, depending on the location, 1–2 weeks before the event.
Registration for in-person trainings must be done no later than two days before and for Teams trainings the day before the event.
