A charming berry farm shop and café.
Selling the farm’s own grain and berry products, jams, juices, honey, as well as candles and soaps.

Suviranta Turenki
A relaxed terrace restaurant with about 400 seats by the Hiidenjoki River. Open in the summer.

A charming café in the Laurinmäki museum area. Concerts and other cultural events.

Café and Pizzeria Tallicafé
Café and Pizzeria Tallicafé is located in a charming historical horse stable in Tervakoski.
The stable is tastefully decorated, respecting the building and environment. The atmosphere is enhanced by the carefully considered menu from the owner couple, which includes Neapolitan-style artisan pizzas, burgers made from tallin naan breads, and pancake dishes.
Tallicafé is open during the summer season from May to September. In the winter season, the Lumotun Navetta shop and café serve in the same yard.
Definitely worth experiencing.
Vähikkälän Suvipuoti
A food kiosk, summer café Vähikkälän Suvipuoti and village office in the middle of beautiful and summery Häme landscapes is open in the summer. Sanna bakes buns, donuts, and pastries every morning and brews coffee throughout the day. The freezer has various kinds of ice cream and of course, local hand-held ice cream as well! The fridge has snacks from sausage to milk and the shelf has everything from pasta to juice. You can cool off from the summer heat with cold refreshments.
Lyylinpuiston Summer Terrace
Welcome to Turenki’s summer living room! A sunny, green, and nature-friendly summer terrace located in the center of Turenki. On the terrace, you can enjoy cold and hot drinks, savory and sweet waffles, ice cream, and other summer treats. The terrace is an excellent destination for locals, friend groups, families with children, and other passersby. In the park, you can enjoy the sun and play outdoor games.

Mallinkaisten Mototorstai
Mallinkaisten village association’s motorist Thursdays gather hundreds of bikes to ride through the village roads every summer Thursday.
Open in July and August on Thursdays from 5:30 PM to 8 PM.

Leppäkosken Kioski
Leppäkosken Kioski is a community-built hub from the 1950s where people come from afar to enjoy both coffee and company!
The kiosk offers pancakes and brewed coffee, waffles, homemade pastries, refreshments, sweets, and ice cream and soft serve.
The kiosk is open in the summer and occasionally on weekends.
Iso-Hiiden Manor Summer Café
Enjoy coffee during berry picking or drive just to the summer café to enjoy delicacies!
At the strawberry barn café, you can enjoy coffee with donuts, snacks, ice cream, and other refreshments. The building is an old courtyard barn from the 1800s. Grandma Siiri donated it to the Janakkala agricultural women’s house for camping use in 1960. It was moved back to Iso-Hiide in January 2000.
Next to the café, you will find the farm’s animals. You can pet the sheep or watch the rabbits hopping around. Next to the café, you will also find a charming forest play area for children by a small stream.
Bambu Thai Fast Food
A Thai restaurant located in the center of Turenki, offering authentic Thai food for takeout from our drive-thru as well as dine-in. Terrace and an ice cream kiosk in the summer.
Café Laurell
In our patisserie cafés, we offer mouth-watering pastries, cakes, and cookies. We also have a diverse selection of specialty coffees and other beverages.
Laurell Turenki serves right in the center of Turenki, on the corner of the market. Another Laurell bakery operates in the same building, where delicious buns, pastries, and breads are made.
Linnatuuli
Linnatuuli is a unique stop built over the motorway. The building is a sight in its uniqueness. Linnatuuli is located halfway between Helsinki and Tampere in Tervakoski, Janakkala.
For small hunger and the needs of our busiest customers, take-away cafés are available at both ends of the building. For bigger hunger, our restaurant world offers food from pizza to steak. Lunch buffet every day from 10:30 AM to 4 PM.
Patarouva
Lunch café Patarouva is located in the picturesque Tapaila area, next to the health center.
We serve a tasty lunch, and the café always has fresh buns and donuts available from 8:00 AM!
Patarouva is also available for private use in the evenings and on weekends.

Miinantori is located in a central location along Kiipulantie in the old stone barn premises. At Miinantori, you will find the garden’s seasonal fresh products: flowers, greenhouse vegetables, and open field organic vegetables. The café offers coffee and refreshments, sweet and savory pastries, as well as light lunches and ice cream. By reservation, coffee and refreshments are also available for large groups.
- Local and organic food: In addition to our extensive vegetable selection, Miinantori sells products from local producers: organic grains, flakes, and flours, organic eggs, honey, cold-pressed juices, and bread.
