The welfare plan for children and youth (2020-2023) sets four major common change objectives for all actors and aligns wellbeing work so that the changes aimed for in children’s and youth’s lives can be achieved. This plan invites all adults in the municipality to participate in this work.

The change objectives related to the wellbeing experienced by children and youth are:

  1. Overall health improves
  2. Physical activity increases
  3. Experience of inclusion increases
  4. Anxiety decreases

Child-friendliness in Janakkala means, among other things, that adults take active collective responsibility for the rights and inclusion of children and youth in their respective roles. When there are enough actions that contribute added value aimed at the same goal, change for the better begins to occur. Impact arises from actors adapting their actions in relation to other actors, and children and youth are involved in the joint work.
