Read aloud reading group

Would you like to read a book aloud and discuss its topics? Welcome to our reading group!

The reading group is meant for adults who are studying Finnish and for native Finnish speakers who want to enrich their learning with their pronunciation and experiences.

In the reading group, you can improve your Finnish language skills in a comfortable and encouraging environment. It’s not just about learning, but also having fun discussions!

The group’s purpose is to read a book aloud. Each participant takes turns reading, and then we discuss the book. In the group, we read Liisa Pyykkönen’s book “Juttuja Suomesta” (Stories from Finland) which covers everyday aspects of the Finnish society.

You don’t have to sign up in advance and participation is free. You don’t need previous experience with reading groups; all you need is an open mind and willingness to learn.
