Janakkala is looking for test residents

The municipality of Janakkala is organizing a housing trial from May 17 to 24, 2026, seeking families who are seriously considering moving to act as trial residents.

Seven different apartments are available to testers, some private homes and some accommodations used for lodging. Available are both an apartment in an apartment building in Turenki town center and an old farm in the village of Kelhä. Kiipula is also participating in the trial with two suites.
The housing trial is free of charge for testers, provided they report their experience via a questionnaire.

The test week’s program includes, among other things, coffee hour with the chief executive and the week’s closing event at the Turenki Spring Fest. In addition to independently getting to know the municipality, test families will, according to their wishes, be offered introductions to, for example, a particular hobby or a school.
The call for applicants to participate in the housing trial is open until April 12, 2026.
